Cannabis concentrates are produced by removing plant material while preserving cannabinoids and terpenes. The result is a product far more potent than flower, typically ranging from 60–95% THC. The extraction method determines the final consistency: BHO (butane hash oil) processes yield shatter, wax, and badder; CO₂ extraction produces a cleaner distillate; ice water hash uses only cold water and agitation; and rosin is pressed from hash or flower using heat and pressure alone — no solvents involved.

Start with a rice grain-sized dab if you're new to concentrates. Because potency is much higher than flower, a small amount goes a long way. Low-temperature dabs (below 450°F) preserve more terpenes and produce smoother, more flavorful vapor; high-temperature dabs vaporize more cannabinoids but can taste harsh.
